Synopsis
Two part comedy drama about the adventures of a postman. Clive Peacock is the perfect postman. The Sorting Office Manager unveils a new machine which will do the work of eight men and so Clive is offered redundancy at 52. He doesn't want to retire as he doesn't want to spend his time metal detecting with his friend Ralph or doing DIY with his wife Christine. On his last day after collecting the 8am mail he doesn't return to the sorting office he decides to deliver the mail himself by hand. The post office call in the police and soon he is being chased by them and the media who turn him into a celebrity.
